Every kid wants to do something amazing when they grow up: play shortstop in the World Series, star in a Broadway show, fight fires and save cats. AC Santano and Reg had more achievable dreams last night on SNL: games and the best pizza in town.
Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney star as the two newest employees of Pogie Pepperoni’s, a pizza arcade not unlike a famous chain that sounds like “Chuck D’s Teas.” Pogie’s was so influential on the two new guys as kids, that their minds are blown at every new proverbial Pepperoni door they open, first figuratively and then quite literally.
Also, Pete Davidson is Nathan, the kid dressed up as Pogie. The new guys meet Pogie on his way to have a smoke during his five minute break, which is kind of meta considering in some parallel universe Davidson is actually Nathan.
